Date: Sunday, May 7, 2006, 5 pm

Place: Black Creek Pioneer Village, Canada West Room

1000 Murray Ross Parkway

We shall be honouring Kay McKeever and her enormous contribution to the care and rehabilitation of injured owls on Sunday, May 7, at Black Creek Pioneer Village. For over 40 years, she has worked with selfless dedication and commitment, and, indeed, is recognized as an international authority on owl research, care, and rehabilitation.

Artist Robert Bateman, a Founding Director of elsa canada, will be in attendance, and is generously donating 15 original etchings of a Barred Owl. It seems particularly appropriate that Bob be there, as it was he who first introduced us to the McKeevers and the Owl Foundation.

As well as a gourmet dinner in lovely surroundings, each ticket entitles you to a chance to win a Bateman original etching.

This is a special fund-raising event to honour Kay McKeever. All proceeds will go directly to support the work of the Owl Foundation. A tax receipt will be issued for the charitable portion of the cost.

Price per ticket: $150

We hope to make this a memorable evening and a fitting tribute to one of Canada’s most remarkable conservationists.

To order, please fill out and return the attached form as soon as possible, as WE need to know as soon as possible the number who plan to attend. Tickets to this unique event are limited.

We look forward to seeing YOU come out to support and enjoy this special tribute to a great Canadian.
